This site created by the players, parents, friends and general supporters of Grappenhall Junior Football Club in 2000. The site started to chart the progress from 2000 onwards of a group of young lads as they developed from 5 and 6 year olds to a highly efficient, well managed and extremely motivated 11-a-side team. This site followed the team during the long winter season(s) and was intended to be a humourous and factual representation of what goes on at Stockton Lane and various grounds around Cheshire during the season.
Due to popular demand the site will be re-launched in Autumn 2005 to update the www community on how the team has progressed and on the next generation of GJFC teams. GJFC has now secured long term tenancy on the Stockton Lane Site thanks to the partnership with Grappenhall Tennis Club. As this is an exciting time for the club and the culmination of the efforts of dedicated individuals over the last 5 years this seems an appropriate time to hit the web again.
The original intention of this site was that it should be fun, wiity, slightly tongue in cheek but also supportive of the boys & girls playing in the Junior teams. This is still the intention BUT if anything offends or upsets then please let the Webmaster(s) know immediately.
